Hey Kids! Greg Burnham and I are going to be leading the upcoming fall marathon clinic at the Cambie Running Room in Vancouver. Clinic nights are Tuesdays starting June 7 and will run through the summer to the Thanksgiving weekend marathons in Victoria, Okanagan, Chicago and Portland.
I taught three marathon clinics at the old Broadway store from Spring 2010 through Spring 2011 before handing the torch to Greg who led the next three through to Fall 2012 (before handing off to Steve Monteith for — you guessed it — three more clinics!) We’ve covered a lot of miles (and kilometres) and learned a few new tricks along the way that we’re looking forward to sharing. Best of all, we’re bringing the old Broadway magic to the Cambie store, so we’ll have plenty of fun and challenging routes that will both prepare you for your goal race and highlight one of the world’s great running cities.
I have run Okanagan, Victoria and Portland and Greg has done Victoria and is training for Chicago, so no matter which of the Big 4 October races you’re aiming for, we’ve got you covered. Running something else in the fall? We can accommodate you there too.
