We kick off training for this year’s BMO Vancouver Marathon with The Opener, a 14k and 16k tour to the marathon start line on Midlothian Avenue in front of Hillcrest Community Centre. From Hillcrest, The Opener follows the first 4.4 kilometres of the marathon route before turning north and heading back to the Cambie Running Room (the 16k option follows the first 5.5 kilometres).
