The New Homecoming Dance is a 32k run from the Cambie Running Room along Vancouver’s scenic west side beaches and up the UBC hill on NW Marine Drive to the University of British Columbia and back along rolling 37th Avenue. It’s a newer, longer version of the original Homecoming Dance 29k from our former home at the Broadway Running Room.
For those looking to run 19k, the turnaround point is Stonehenge, the semi-circular pergola at the Spanish Banks East concession stand. For 16k, turn around at the far end of Jericho Beach where the concrete wharf used to be (look for the plaque commemorating the wharf). Directions for all three are below:
