The Broadway Run Club boys are dragging out the ratty old Vegas Gold Brooks singlets and toeing a few lines on Saturday!
Tim will be mucking it up at the Dirty Duo 50k in North Van starting at 8:00am, while Brian, Paul and Dario try their luck at the St. Patrick’s Day 5k in Stanley Park starting at 10:00am. I’ll be hoping for a little luck of my own as I attempt to run to both events in time to tweet and watch all four of them finish.
As if one race wasn’t enough, Dario is planning to head out for a little nightcap at the Club Fat Ass Capilano Canyon Night Run. Dario will be gunning to grab another Capilano Canyon Night Run crown for the BRC after yours truly ran away from Andy Nicol on Fairmont Road to take the Capilano Midsummer Night Run title last August… despite what CFA’s alphabetized race results might lead anyone to believe.
UPDATE…
Dario finished 33rd overall in 17:32 (17:28 chip time), Brian 38th in 17:45 (17:38) and Paul 76th in 19:12 (19:06) at the St. Patrick’s Day 5k.

Dario kept the BRC’s Club Fat Ass Cap Canyon Run streak alive finishing first at the Capilano Canyon Mardigras Night Run in 1:29. Like me last August, it appears that Dario made the most of the navigational skills of Ran Katzman who finished second in 1:30.
