Grip It and Rip It is a 10-kilometre route from Distance Runwear that does a round of the Langara Golf Course and then a short chip-shot past the Queen Elizabeth Park Pitch and Putt — all the nearby golf without the golfing!
Want to run 5k instead? Skip the Langara loop part of the route and head right up Ontario Street from 51st Avenue instead. (Yes, you’ll still have to climb the 37th Avenue hill and do the loop in Queen E Park.)

Starting at Main St, EAST on 32nd Ave — RIGHT on Prince Edward St — RIGHT on 51st Ave — at Ontario St veer slightly LEFT and STRAIGHT heading westbound onto Langara Golf Course path — run one complete counter-clockwise loop of Langara Golf Course path — continue NORTH on Ontario — LEFT on 37th Ave — at the top of the hill, take first RIGHT on road into Queen Elizabeth Park — LEFT through the Pitch and Putt parking lot and follow the ring road clockwise around the park and downhill to exit the north side of the park EASTBOUND onto 33rd Ave — LEFT on Main back to 32nd
