Training for the BMO Vancouver Marathon requires a lot of work on Point Grey Road. This seems truer than ever this year as road crews scramble to repave the one-kilometre section of the redesigned bike route from Alma Street to Bayswater Street before race day.
The Point Grey Road Work 16k is the ideal pre-marathon 10-miler from the Cambie Running Room covering the section of the Vancouver Marathon course from the 25k mark at 4th Avenue and Alma to the 30k mark at the north end of the Burrard Bridge.
