Who doesn’t love a stroll in the park and long walks on the beach? The Prospect Point Figure-8 answers the call with a 19-kilometre route and 13-kilometre Lagoon Loop option from the Cambie Running Room.

There are plenty of water and washroom options on both routes, including at Sunset and English Bay Beaches in both directions and at Prospect Point at the top end of the 19k’s extra 6k loop.

Turn-by-Turn Directions
NORTH on the east side of the Cambie Bridge — down spiral off-ramp on the north end of the bridge — run toward False Creek and veer RIGHT on Marinaside Cres and make your way onto the Seawall path — follow path to English Bay Beach — follow the path past the beach and take the first RIGHT fork up to Beach Ave — cross Beach Ave at the park office and continue into Stanley Park — RIGHT on Park Lane — when Park merges with Lagoon Dr continue STRAIGHT on path (you should see Lost Lagoon on your left) — when the path reaches the intersection of Chilco and Alberni, take gravel path LEFT (you are looping the lagoon — DO NOT take Georgia Street underpass!) — follow the gravel path around to the northwest end of the lagoon where you will see a small stone bridge to your left — turn RIGHT, cross N Lagoon Dr and veer LEFT onto Rawlings Trail — follow Rawlings all the way to the top where it merges with Bridle Path — LEFT on Bridle Path — just before Stanley Park Dr, turn RIGHT on Prospect Point Trail — turn around at the washrooms and follow Prospect Point Trail back to Bridle — LEFT on Bridle — follow Bridle downhill — at the intersection with Lees Trail (look for an archway with benches to your left), fork slightly LEFT from Bridle onto Cathedral Trail — cross N Lagoon Dr and veer RIGHT to cross the stone bridge you saw earlier — continue straight, past the Rhododendron Garden on your right — take one of the next two paths RIGHT to Park Ln — LEFT on Beach Ave to exit Stanley Park — cross Beach and take the path back down to the beach path at English Bay Beach and return to Cambie the way you came
